Hammocks and homebrews, oh my!
My first attempt at home brewing
So Christa gave me my birthday present a little early. She drove me, under secrecy, to a local homebrew store where she got me all the supplies necessary to make my own beer! Tài hǎo le (working on my Chinese there)! So today I started a basic amber brew, as evidenced by the picture. It’s right now cooling after the boil and waiting for me to add in the yeast. 3 weeks from now I’ll be drinking my very own beer!

And this weekend I also got around to hanging up a hammock that Christa got me for Christmas. To call it a simple hammock is to do it a great disservice though. It’s actually a hanging tent, but right now I am just using the hammock part to sit out in the sun and read.

This one has a little pocket on the side that I might be able to use to hold
a drink, but I still think it'd be pretty tricky. Maybe I'll have a drink
and then try and get in the hammock, that sounds like it could be dangerous!
