I just submitted (but Christa really did all the work) a backcountry permit request for Glacier National Park. That means that should they respond favorably, we’ll be heading up to Glacier this summer to go camping! The park gets really full, so we need to plan well in advance. I imagine that even if the spots we want aren’t open, somewhere in the park has to have room! Until such time as I have my own pictures from the park, feast on the one below.

where in glacier was this picture taken?
Sadly I have no idea as it's not actually my picture. I did a quick
image search and I am not even sure where I got it from.
It is on the Grinell Glacier hike. Its an edge of Lake Josephine. Here is a pict i took recently
